This is the second part of our video project. My students actively participated in creating the content, shooting and designing the video. We have already uploaded the full version of our video in the newspaper on Genial.ly.  In this part of the video, the students described the ways they use to spot fake news. We hope you like it and find it beneficial.

  We made a Zoom meeting for our video. We decided to prepare an informative video about fake news types and how to identify fake news. We created a virtual class on Canva for cooperation and collective group work.

  New communication tools also pose some risks especially for children and young people. It is of great importance to analyze, evaluate and interpret the messages on social media correctly. This situation has increased the importance of the concept of media literacy. The aim of our project is to raise awareness of the risks posed by social media by contributing to the awareness of our students about critically evaluating their social media messages. In addition, we aim to raise awareness of media literacy and disinformation for our students.
